I’m sitting here at my desk with a little more than an hour to go before Halo C.E. 10 year anniversary is released. I plan to hit the local GameStop shop to snag me a $40 copy of a game that I already bought 10 years ago for about the same price. So, I ponder this event and wonder a few things.
1. Why hasn’t the Federal Reserve’s nasty money printing habits inflated the dollar beyond the point that I can afford this game? 2. Why am I buying a game that I virtually already own, except the new version is purportedly pumped up to High Def and the campaign sugar covered with eye-candy coated sparkling delight? Lastly, will Halosecrets.com become flooded with seekers of secrets and tricks like it did so man years ago?
I hope to re-engage the one and only game that captivated my deepest imagination and propelled me into a life of poverty and hopelessness for playing the game like a crack addict. We’ll see you in the funny pages.
